The mind behind Symmetricly. The mission behind the movement.
"The health of every community starts with the health of its relationships. It's a systemic problem hiding in plain sight and Symmetricly is the answer."
The Origin
Why Symmetricly Exists
It started with a question most people never ask out loud: Why are we so bad at the thing that matters most?
Relationships are the most fundamental part of being human. They shape how we parent, how we lead, how we love, how we heal. And yet most people were never taught how to maintain one. We learn calculus before we learn communication. We're taught to build careers but not connections.
Janelle saw this gap everywhere — in her clinical work, in her community, in the world. Couples who loved each other but couldn't talk to each other. Individuals carrying relational wounds they didn't have language for. Families repeating cycles they never chose.
She didn't want to just treat the symptoms. She wanted to address the system. And that required building something different — a practice that didn't just help people survive their relationships, but fundamentally changed how they showed up in them.
That's how Symmetricly was born. Not as a therapy office. As a mission.
The Belief
If We Heal Relationships,
We Heal Everything.
Healthy relationships teach us empathy. Empathy builds healthy families. Healthy families shape healthy communities. Healthy communities build healthy cities. Healthy cities change societies.
It all starts with two people in a room learning how to hear each other.
Symmetricly exists to restore what's broken through healing, teaching, and understanding — putting people back in perfect symmetry with themselves and with each other.
This isn't just therapy. It's infrastructure for a better world.
The Vision
Three Pillars of Change
Symmetricly is built on the belief that relational health requires more than a single session. It requires a system.
Healing
Clinical therapy that goes beyond coping. We help people process what's holding them back and build the relational skills they were never taught.
Teaching
Education that extends beyond the therapy room — through workshops, corporate programs, and content that equips communities with relational intelligence.
Understanding
A deep commitment to meeting people where they are — culturally, emotionally, and personally. No judgment. No templates. Just human-centered care.
"The mission isn't just better therapy. It's better-connected people building better-connected communities."
