We know what's
going through your mind right now.

Whether you discovered the affair days ago or months ago, the questions don't stop. The doubt doesn't sleep. And the hardest part is that you're not sure which is worse — staying or leaving. We've sat with couples through all of it.

"Can I ever trust them again?"
Trust after betrayal isn't rebuilt overnight, but it can be rebuilt. We'll show you exactly how that process works, step by step.
"Is it too late for us?"
Most couples who commit to the work find clarity they didn't have before. Some rebuild. Some find peace in a different decision. Either way, you don't have to stay stuck.
"Why did this happen?"
Understanding the why isn't about excuses. It's about both of you seeing the full picture, so you can make a real decision about your future.
"Does my pain even matter to them?"
In our sessions, both voices are heard. The betrayed partner's pain isn't minimized. The other partner's accountability isn't avoided. We hold both.
"What if I'm the one who strayed?"
You're not a villain for being here. You're someone who wants to fix it. That matters. We'll help you show up in the way your partner needs and figure out what you need too.
"Will people find out?"
Everything shared in our sessions stays there. No judgment, no gossip, no record that follows you. Just a private space to figure things out.
"Infidelity doesn't have to be the end.
It can be the beginning of a relationship you actually designed together."

What working with us
actually looks like

01

A Free, No-Pressure First Call

Start with a free 15-minute consultation. No commitment, no intake forms, no pressure. Just a real conversation about where you are and whether we're a good fit.

02

We Match You to the Right Therapist

With a team of 8 licensed therapists, we match you based on your specific situation, not just whoever has availability. You deserve the right fit, not the first available slot.

03

Individual + Couples Sessions, Together

Our team can see you both individually and as a couple — sometimes in the same week. This is rare. It means each partner gets space to process privately, while the couple heals together.

04

A Recovery Plan Built for You

Infidelity recovery isn't a one-size program. We build a pace and path that reflects your relationship — your history, your goals, your timeline. No cookie-cutter treatment plans.

What most therapy practices
can't offer — we can.

We Specialize in This

Infidelity isn't a checkbox on our intake form. It's a focus area. Our therapists are trained in betrayal trauma, attachment repair, and what it actually takes to rebuild after an affair.

👥

A Full Team, Not One Person

8 licensed therapists means you can see us this week — not in 6 weeks. It also means your individual therapist and couples therapist can coordinate, which solo practitioners simply can't do.

Local, Not a Platform

We're not an app. We're a practice rooted in the Smyrna and greater Atlanta community. You can come in person. You can call us. You know our names.

Insurance Accepted

We accept Anthem, Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare, Optum, and Oscar. We also offer sliding-scale rates for those without coverage. Cost shouldn't be the reason you don't try.

This counseling is designed for you if…

✓  This is a good fit if…

  • You both want to understand what happened, even if you're not sure what comes next
  • You're willing to be honest, even when it's uncomfortable
  • The betrayed partner wants space to grieve and be heard
  • The person who strayed wants to take genuine accountability
  • You're open to the possibility that recovery is real — even if you're skeptical
  • You want a private, professional environment to work through this

—  This may not be the right fit if…

  • One partner is not willing to participate at all
  • You're looking for a therapist to take sides or assign blame
  • There are active safety concerns in the relationship
  • You need immediate crisis intervention (we'll refer you to the right resource)

Not sure? Start with the free call. We'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit, or who is.

Things couples ask us
before they reach out.

How soon can we get an appointment? +
Because we have a team of 8 therapists, we can typically see new couples fairly quickly. We know time feels urgent right now, and we don't want you waiting.
What if we're not sure we want to stay together? +
You don't need to have made a decision before you come. Many couples start counseling without knowing the outcome they want. The work itself helps you find clarity, whether that means rebuilding or consciously uncoupling with more peace.
Can we see therapists individually and as a couple? +
Yes, and this is one of the things that sets Symmetricly apart. We can assign one therapist to work with each of you individually, and a third to see you as a couple. All three are part of the same practice and can coordinate your care in ways a solo therapist simply can't.
Is everything kept confidential? +
Absolutely. Everything discussed in your sessions is protected by professional confidentiality laws. The only exceptions are legal requirements that apply to all licensed therapists (imminent harm, etc.) and we'll walk you through those before your first session.
How long does infidelity recovery counseling take? +
It varies, but most couples doing serious recovery work see meaningful progress within 3–6 months of consistent sessions. Some continue for a year or more. We don't rush the process, but we also don't let it stall. You'll have a clear sense of progress every step of the way.
Do you offer virtual sessions? +
Yes. We offer both in-person sessions at our Smyrna office and secure telehealth sessions for couples across the greater Atlanta area, including Marietta, Kennesaw, Vinings, and Acworth.

You don't have to figure this out alone.

Start with a free, no-pressure consultation. We'll listen, answer your questions, and tell you honestly whether we're the right fit. No intake form. No commitment.
